Ingredients:
- Banana heart
- Pork (optional)
- Garlic
- Onion
- Vinegar

- Green chili (optional)
Method:
- Preparation: Peel and discard the outer layers of the banana heart until you reach the lighter, softer core. Slice thinly and soak in salted cold water for 15-20 minutes. Rinse and drain well.
- Cooking: Sauté garlic and onion in a pan. Add the pork and cook until browned. Add the banana heart and cook for a few minutes. Pour in vinegar and let it boil without stirring—season with salt and pepper. Add green chili if desired and simmer until tender.
