Lollo Rosso lettuce, also known as red coral lettuce, is a visually striking variety with its frilly, curly leaves that transition from a deep purplish-red at the edges to a lighter green at the base.

• Appearance: It forms a compact rosette of fan-shaped leaves with a crisp, semi-succulent texture and ruffled tips.
• Flavor: Lollo Rosso has a bold, slightly bitter, and nutty flavor, making it a great addition to salads and sandwiches.
• Nutritional Benefits: This lettuce is rich in vitamins A and C, folate, iron, and antioxidants, including quercetin, which can act as a natural antihistamine.
• Storage: To keep it fresh, store the leaves in a sealed bag in the fridge. It’s best consumed within three to four days.
