Deligood DEBONED WHOLE CHICKEN FOR RELLENO OR GALANTINA. We deboned the chicken to make it easier for you to cook the star of the Christmas spread or any special occasion.
- Soft bones of the whole chicken will be included in the package
- Ideal for stuffed chicken recipes like relleno/galantina.
- Specified weight is gross or pre-deboned weight
- Stuffing is not included.
Marinating and Stuffing
- Marinate: Marinate the deboned chicken in a mixture of soy sauce and calamansi juice for at least an hour to infuse flavor
- Prepare the Stuffing: Mix ground pork, ham, raisins, eggs, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. For extra flavor, add chorizo, olives, and bell peppers.
- Stuff the Chicken: Lay the chicken flat, skin-side down, and spread the stuffing evenly over the meat. Fold the sides over the stuffing and sew the opening closed with kitchen twine.
- Roast: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the stuffed chicken on a roasting rack and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown.
Tips:
- Use a Meat Thermometer to ensure the chicken and stuffing reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Avoid Overstuffing: The stuffing will expand during cooking, so leave some space.
- Tent with Foil: Cover the chicken loosely with foil if the skin browns too quickly.
