Deligood DEBONED WHOLE CHICKEN FOR RELLENO OR GALANTINA. We deboned the chicken to make it easier for you to cook the star of the Christmas spread or any special occasion.

  • Soft bones of the whole chicken will be included in the package
  • Ideal for stuffed chicken recipes like relleno/galantina.
  • Specified weight is gross or pre-deboned weight
  • Stuffing is not included.

Marinating and Stuffing

  1. Marinate: Marinate the deboned chicken in a mixture of soy sauce and calamansi juice for at least an hour to infuse flavor
  2. Prepare the Stuffing: Mix ground pork, ham, raisins, eggs, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. For extra flavor, add chorizo, olives, and bell peppers.
  3. Stuff the Chicken: Lay the chicken flat, skin-side down, and spread the stuffing evenly over the meat. Fold the sides over the stuffing and sew the opening closed with kitchen twine.
  4. Roast: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the stuffed chicken on a roasting rack and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown.

Tips:

  • Use a Meat Thermometer to ensure the chicken and stuffing reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Avoid Overstuffing: The stuffing will expand during cooking, so leave some space.
  • Tent with Foil: Cover the chicken loosely with foil if the skin browns too quickly.
