BROWN WHOLE ORGANIC CHICKEN or MANOK TAGALOG refers to a whole chicken that is raised under organic farming practices. These chickens are typically free-range, fed organic feed, and raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Brown chicken consumes probiotic feeds with 65% corn, rice bran, wheat, vegetable trimmings and fresh and banana trunk.
Cooking Tips:
- Preparation: Rinse and pat dry the chicken. Let it come to room temperature before cooking.
- Seasoning: Season the cavity and the outside of the chicken with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary, garlic).

Cooking Methods:
- Roasting: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast-side up. Roast until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the breast and thigh
- Slow Cooking: Place the chicken in a slow cooker with vegetables and broth. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender. Pure goodness in every sip of mouthwatering broth which everyone loves.
