LOCAL BEEF TENDON is primarily composed of collagen, a protein that gives it its unique gelatinous texture when cooked. Beef tendon is a unique and delicious ingredient that adds a distinctive touch to various dishes. This product is already ready to eat. No more pressure cooking is required. 

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Defrost or thaw the Tendon in the refrigerator, wash thoroughly, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. DO NOT PRESSURE COOK. Check for desired tenderness.

Storage Tips:

  • Refrigeration: Store fresh beef tendon in the refrigerator if you plan to use it within a day or two. Keep it in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap.
  • Freezing: For longer storage, freeze the beef tendon. Place it in a freezer-safe bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing. It can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.
